Account Executive – Strength & Conditioning
Teamworks
• Own and execute the complete sales cycle for Teamworks Strength & Conditioning across North America professional sports teams and National Governing Bodies, from prospecting to close • Build a sustainable pipeline and identify cross-sell opportunities across the Performance vertical (AMS, Nutrition) • Build deep relationships with strength coaches, performance directors, sports scientists, and athletic administrators who make purchasing decisions • Conduct product demonstrations that connect S&C features directly to real-world coaching workflows, training periodization, and load management challenges • Collaborate with Customer Success and Implementation teams to ensure seamless handoffs and successful customer onboarding • Navigate complex, multi-stakeholder sales processes involving athletics leadership, IT/operations, and performance staff • Maintain disciplined pipeline management and accurate forecasting in Salesforce • Leverage your practitioner background to establish peer-to-peer credibility and consultative partnerships with prospects
Job Requirements
- Applied sports science background with hands-on experience in strength & conditioning, sports performance, or related athletic performance disciplines
- Deep understanding of training methodologies, periodization models, load management strategies, and performance data used in elite athletics
- Proven ability to build relationships and navigate organizational dynamics within professional sports or National Governing Body environments
- Experience managing complex sales processes with multiple stakeholders and long sales cycles
- Comfort with technology and ability to learn and demonstrate SaaS platforms effectively
- Track record of achieving targets through consultative, relationship-driven selling
- Based in or willing to relocate to Durham, North Carolina
