Role Description We are looking for an Automation Quality Engineer to join a team building an AI-powered platform designed to streamline administrative workflows and enable customers to focus on learner engagement and business outcomes. In this role, you will contribute to the quality strategy of a modern software product by: - Designing and maintaining scalable test automation solutions - Improving QA processes - Ensuring high standards across the application stack You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive quality initiatives and support the delivery of reliable, user-focused solutions. Qualifications - Strong experience in test automation and quality engineering - Excellent communication skills and a proactive, ownership-driven mindset - Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into effective testing strategies - Experience building and maintaining scalable, reusable, and maintainable automation frameworks - Solid understanding of API, database, and UI testing - Ability to review requirements and technical designs and identify potential risks, gaps, and edge cases before implementation - Curiosity, willingness to challenge assumptions, and confidence to raise concerns when needed - Ability to receive feedback constructively and continuously improve ways of working - Interest in leveraging AI technologies to enhance daily QA activities and testing processes - Nice-to-have skills: - Experience working with AI-powered products or platforms - Familiarity with modern software development and Agile delivery practices - Experience driving quality initiatives across teams and influencing quality standards Requirements - Build and maintain scalable automation frameworks with a strong focus on reusability, maintainability, and reliability - Design and execute automated tests across API, database, and UI layers - Review business requirements and technical designs to identify logical gaps and quality risks early in the development lifecycle - Drive quality initiatives from conception to completion with minimal supervision - Collaborate closely with engineers, product stakeholders, and other team members to ensure high product quality - Continuously improve QA processes, automation coverage, and overall testing effectiveness - Explore and utilize AI-powered tools and technologies to enhance quality engineering practices Benefits At Avenga, everyone matters.
