Certified Medical Assistant

• Provide administrative, clinical support, scheduling, and coordination of member services for a collaborative behavioral health team • Serve as a key resource for patients and parents/caregivers to engage, educate, and support members throughout their care journey • Conduct outreach to patients/parents/caregivers to confirm appointments and provide education regarding services • Obtain required consents and releases of information, including medication management agreements • Respond to patient inquiries and triage requests • Coordinate care and communication with primary care and external healthcare providers • Manage and process clinical correspondence, forms, and letters
Job Requirements
- 2+ years of experience as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
- Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR/EMR) systems
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively support patients and providers in a virtual environment (phone, video, email, etc.)
- Ability to prioritize patient needs and appropriately triage requests under clinical direction
- Experience supporting patients in a telehealth or virtual care setting preferred
