Role Description As a Freelance Online Spanish Teacher at Busuu, you’ll play a key role in helping students learn Spanish effectively and confidently. On a day-to-day basis, your responsibilities will likely include: - Planning, preparing, and teaching online lessons (45 minutes each) for corporate clients. - 1:1 Lessons: - Deliver private lessons that include both language teaching and personalised coaching. - Conducting needs analyses, assessing levels, creating bespoke learning paths, checking progress during lesson time, and setting clear goals. - Group Lessons: - Teach online group classes that focus on active learning and communication. Qualifications - C2 Level of Spanish - Valid teaching certificate such as TEFL/CELTA or related university degrees - Experience in online teaching and providing 1:1 coaching or personalised learning support - Fluency in additional languages: B2 or above in English - Bonus: Speaking more than two languages - Comfortable teaching: presentation skills, negotiations, business email etiquette, meeting management, multicultural communication, etc. - Excellent communication skills to engage and teach students - High-Speed Internet, Modern Laptop / PC with a microphone and camera - Must comply with local freelance/contractor regulations Requirements - $13 paid per lesson taught - Materials Provided - Remote position - Freedom to set your own schedule - Access to Busuu Premium, to continue your own language learning - Opportunity to interact with and teach students from around the world - Valuable teaching experience with one of the industry’s leading companies What happens next? • Preparation of financial accounting records for clients or companies • Preparation and completion of annual financial statements • Preparation of personal and business tax returns • Management of a dedicated client portfolio • Communication with clients, tax authorities, government agencies, or internal contacts • Review of tax assessments and deadline monitoring • Support with management reporting and financial analyses • Digital collaboration using DATEV, Agenda, Addison, or comparable systems • Optional: payroll processing, if desired • Work in a company's accounting department, e.g., financial accounting, reconciliations, or preparatory financial statements

• You will support the audit of annual and consolidated financial statements in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB) (and, where applicable, IFRS). • You analyze financial data, accounts and supporting documents and perform audit procedures independently. • You prepare audit reports. • You assist with special audits (e.g., incorporation, restructuring or public funding/grant audits). • You take part in inventory counts and verify on-site stock. • You support the preparation of annual financial statements and tax returns. • You maintain close communication with our clients and the audit team. • You actively contribute to the continuous improvement of our audit processes.
