• Identify and source software companies that meet our acquisition criteria and key performance indicators • Develop and execute targeted outreach campaigns via email and outbound calls, continuously testing new business development strategies, with exposure to a high volume of deal opportunities • Build and maintain relationships with potential acquisition targets and sell-side investment banks specializing in M&A • Conduct preliminary evaluations of potential acquisitions, including initial operational and financial analysis and assessment of opportunities and risks • Manage and drive a robust deal pipeline, ensuring it is continuously updated as new targets and information emerge, while collaborating with an entrepreneurial, high-performing, and motivated team • Perform sector analyses and market research to identify trends and uncover new acquisition opportunities • Review and analyze investment materials, synthesizing large volumes of data into clear, concise, and actionable analyses, presentations, and recommendations • Advance acquisition opportunities independently by defining transaction scope and maintaining momentum throughout the process, with exposure to the full transaction lifecycle from sourcing to execution • Prioritize and delegate tasks effectively based on transaction timelines and strategic importance • Provide ad hoc analytical and operational support to the broader team as needed • Work cross-functionally to support data requests, due diligence, internal alignment, and successful transaction execution

• Architect, install, configure, and maintain Microsoft SQL Server instances (2019, 2025, Azure SQL Database) across complex, multi-server Windows environments. • Lead end-to-end application performance engineering: analyze execution plans, identify problematic queries, and work with development teams to implement lasting optimizations at the code and schema level. • Proactively monitor application and database performance using Extended Events, DMVs, Wait Statistics analysis, and third-party tooling; establish baselines and SLA-aligned alerting thresholds. • Design, implement, and test robust backup and recovery strategies; own RTO/RPO targets and validate them through regular recovery drills. • Architect and maintain HA/DR solutions including Always On Availability Groups and Log Shipping across production and DR environments. • Govern database security: design role-based access controls, auditing frameworks, and encryption strategies in line with least-privilege and regulatory requirements. • Own capacity planning and storage forecasting; collaborate with infrastructure teams to ensure database platforms scale ahead of demand. • Lead database change governance: review and approve schema migrations, deployment scripts, and ORM-generated queries before they reach production. • Drive automation of routine DBA tasks (index maintenance, integrity checks, job monitoring) through PowerShell and SQL Agent. • Manage SQL Server patching and upgrades through a formal change management process, including pre- and post-upgrade validation. • Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior and mid-level DBAs; contribute to team knowledge-base and runbook documentation. • Serve as the senior escalation point in the on-call rotation, leading the response and post-incident review for Severity 1 database outages.

• Execute configuration tasks within MCP across assigned capability groups, including but not limited to core platform setup, workflow configuration, document/imaging setup, reporting, and system integrations. • Support onshore implementation consultants throughout the full project lifecycle — from requirements gathering and design-and-build through acceptance testing, UAT, and go-live. • Contribute to the development and maintenance of Statements of Work (SOWs), configuration documentation, and implementation estimates under onshore direction. • Resolve open support tickets and defects within assigned capability areas, following established triage and escalation protocols. • Participate in asynchronous client-facing communications (e.g., written status updates, defect clarifications, documentation requests) as directed by the onshore lead. • Maintain accurate records of configuration progress, open items, and ticket status in project tracking tools (e.g., ADO, Jira, Smartsheet). • Follow defined configuration standards, naming conventions, and quality checklists to ensure consistency and accuracy across deliverables. • Collaborate actively with onshore team members, contributing to daily or weekly coordination touchpoints and async communication channels. • Support internal automation and AI-assisted implementation initiatives by executing structured tasks within established workflows.

• Provide support during Tuesday and Thursday hotfix windows, ensuring smooth client validation after custom production changes. • Tracks and manages changes to be included in the Production Hotfix, windows, including verification with customer • Coordinate with WSS and DevOps during maintenance windows • Execute backout scripts and CMUs as needed • Participate in once-monthly production release windows, supporting client validation processes. • Serve as the first point of contact on client calls during critical issues or production-impacting events (during working hours) • Customer Submitted Issue Support: • Assist with ServiceNow ticket management and initial triage of tickets • Includes reviewing the current tickets open for USAA and ensuring customer updates are occurring timely • Work closely with internal engineering, support, and delivery teams to coordinate custom change implementations. • Proactively identify and escalate risks or delays that may impact client delivery.
