• Define technical and architectural solutions, considering trade-offs in collaboration with the team and the client. • Propose innovative solutions for technical and business challenges in mobile development. • Work with the team to ensure the implementation of Agile Software Engineering best practices. • Create and manage the project roadmap, assessing dependencies, risks, and technical debt, and aligning architectural activities with business solutions. • Ensure functional and non-functional requirements are met. • Act as an inspiring leader with autonomy and resilience, recognized by the client as a point of reference. • Collect metrics for technical PDCA discussions with the client, presenting data, delivery targets, and KPIs. • Orchestrate AI agents for large-scale code generation using tools such as Claude-Code. • Create and optimize custom commands and agent skills for automating development tasks and code analysis. • Implement AI-assisted workflows to increase productivity and the quality of mobile code.
Job Requirements
- Experience designing and advocating architectural solutions for mobile applications.
- Proficiency in native mobile development (Android).
- Knowledge of Agile Software Engineering and DevSecOps practices, such as the Testing Pyramid, CI/CD, Feature Toggle, and Clean Architecture.
- Advanced or fluent English communication skills.
- Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools, such as Claude-Code, including creating custom commands.
- Knowledge of architectural patterns such as MVI and MVVM.
- Knowledge of Swift (iOS) and Kotlin (Android).
- Experience with mobile development using Kotlin Multiplatform (KMM).
- Familiarity with SDUI (Static Declarative User Interface).
- Experience with test automation tools for mobile platforms.
- Knowledge of cloud computing platforms that support mobile development.
- Experience in prompt engineering and optimizing workflows with generative AI agents.
- Knowledge of integrating AI tools into CI/CD pipelines for automated code review and test generation.

Role Description Mindrift is looking for skilled Mobile App Developers (React Native, Flutter, Swift, or Kotlin) to join the Tendem project (https://tendem.ai/) and build native and cross-platform mobile applications within our hybrid AI + human environment. In this role, as an AI Pilot – that's how we refer to this position at Mindrift – you'll collaborate with Tendem Agents that handle repetitive tasks, while you provide mobile engineering expertise, platform-specific judgment, and quality control to ensure apps are stable, performant, and ready for real users on real devices. This part-time remote opportunity is ideal for professionals with hands-on experience shipping iOS and/or Android apps, working with platform APIs, and handling the full mobile development lifecycle. Key Responsibilities - Build mobile applications using React Native, Flutter, Swift (iOS), or Kotlin (Android). - Implement responsive mobile UIs that follow platform conventions (iOS HIG, Material Design). - Integrate native device features (camera, push notifications, location, storage, biometrics). - Connect apps to backend APIs, handle offline state, caching, and synchronization. - Implement monetization features where required (in-app purchases, ads, subscriptions). - Evaluate AI-generated mobile code and refactor it for correctness, performance, battery use, and maintainability. - Debug platform-specific issues and prepare builds for distribution (TestFlight, Play Console).
