Global Legal Assistant

• Provide essential support to paralegals and intake coordinators, ensuring administrative tasks are efficiently managed and executed. • Act as the second set of eyes on major documents such as trusts, wills, and powers of attorney, ensuring accuracy and preventing costly errors. • Ensure timely closing and archival of files, maintaining clarity and order within the firm’s systems. • Facilitate document preparation and drafting assistance, playing a crucial role in case preparation and management. • Support the intake coordinator with backend administrative tasks, ensuring smooth initial client interactions and data accuracy. • This role reports directly to the Office Manager with oversight during training.
Job Requirements
- Attention to Detail: Maintain high standards of accuracy in reviewing and preparing legal documents.
- Communication Skills: Exhibit strong reading comprehension and an ability to follow detailed instructions precisely.
- Problem-Solving: Utilize available resources to independently solve challenges before escalating issues.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with tools such as Clio, Google Suite, and Microsoft Word.
- Self-Initiative: Demonstrate intrinsic motivation and a proactive approach to tackling tasks and responsibilities.
