Phlebotomy Technician, SME, Contract Position

• Review course content for clinical accuracy, completeness, and NHA CPT exam alignment • Provide expert feedback on errors, gaps, outdated information, and improvement opportunities • Validate exam preparation content against the NHA Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) exam domains • Collaborate with our academic team and content vendor to resolve questions and clarify standards • Approve final content before course launch • Following launch, hold 1 hour per week of virtual office hours to support enrolled students • Participate in course and/or marketing features (photo, bio, recorded segments, or testimonials) as mutually agreed
Job Requirements
- Active NHA CPT (Certified Phlebotomy Technician) certification
- 3–4 years of phlebotomy experience in a clinical setting
- At least 2 years of active venipuncture and specimen collection experience within the past 5 years
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare, Clinical Laboratory Science, Health Sciences, or related field (Preferred)
- 5+ years of experience across multiple clinical settings (hospital, reference lab, blood donation center, outpatient clinic, etc.) (Preferred)
- Experience with special collection procedures (blood cultures, arterial draws, pediatric/geriatric collections, point-of-care testing) (Preferred)
- Teaching, precepting, or curriculum development experience (Preferred)
