Labor Coordinator – Part-Time

CrewBloom

• Promptly and accurately respond to labor requests from clients, schedule crew members, and communicate event details to both clients and the crew. • Review and update event timecards within 24 hours of the event's conclusion to ensure accuracy and timeliness. • Serve as the first point of contact during on-call hours, addressing questions or concerns from clients and technicians. • Arrange and approve travel plans for crew members as needed. • Handle additional tasks and responsibilities as required to support the team and clients.

Job Requirements

  • Industry Knowledge: Basic understanding of live corporate events and the roles of audio/visual technicians (e.g., audio engineers, video engineers, lighting technicians, stagehands, and camera operators).
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient with computer programs, particularly Google Workspace (Docs, Gmail, Sheets, Drive), and the ability to quickly learn new tools like Lasso event management software.
  • Organizational Excellence: Strong organizational skills with exceptional follow-through and attention to detail.
  • Communication Skills: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Problem-Solving Ability: Ability to think critically and work independently while demonstrating a willingness to learn.
  • Numerical Aptitude: Basic understanding of math, particularly as it relates to payroll calculations.
  • Interpersonal Skills: High emotional intelligence and a curious, proactive mindset.
  • Preferred Skills (Not Required): Prior experience in the audio/visual or live event industry.
  • Familiarity with Lasso event management software.
