• Develop, maintain and evolve the database platform and adapt it for cloud technologies • Ensure high scalability and maintainability of the components • Contribute to and review designs and code from other team members • Perform testing and provide tooling to maintain up-to-date systems • Collaborate across teams to remediate database issues • Support migration from VMs to Kubernetes
Job Requirements
- 8+ Years of excellent Python development experience
- Proficiency with Kubernetes (writing operators desirable)
- Understanding of REST APIs
- Strong experience with MySQL, Cassandra, Redis or similar technologies
- Experience with Docker and cloud services (GCP, Azure)
- Excellent communication and self-management skills
- Previous experience designing and building tooling for use by other engineers (Nice To Have)
- Experience with game development or game engines (Nice To Have)
- Experience with large scale services (up to millions of concurrent users) (Nice To Have)
- Familiarity with Vitess or similar (Nice To Have)
- Experience with Go Lang and sharding (Nice To Have)
