Media Supervisor

The Marketing Practice

• Lead cross-channel strategy for various client accounts by providing campaign recommendations and insights from program inception through completion for complex, global B2B clients • Partner with Client Services to help steward and nurture the health of client accounts • Identify opportunities to incorporate new media strategies and tactics into current and future programs • Ensure deliverables align with overall strategies and program results highlight key findings with actionable insights for continued media plan improvement • Utilize industry tools and research to provide education and insights for client and internal team requests • Oversee day-to-day maintenance of media plans and handle client requests and questions • Cultivate relationships with media vendors, draft and submit RFPs, evaluate proposals and provide media POVs • Collaborate with Analytics on measurement plans that translate platform specific KPIs to clients’ business objectives • Ensure timely and accurate client billing and reconciliations • Stay abreast of marketplace trends across marketing, consumer behaviour and marketing technology • Educate clients and internal teams on digital tactics including programmatic, partnerships, native, content syndication, etc. • Present paid media strategies to a diverse range of clients, including complex, global B2B brands • Collaborate with TMP team members to develop comprehensive campaign strategies • Leverage client insights and campaign briefs to create a relevant target audience for campaigns • Advanced knowledge of campaign and platform analytics with the ability to use data to determine ideal budgets across channels • Provide estimated performance projections based on media plan recommendations • Measure channel effectiveness against established KPIs and desired business outcomes • Manage, train and mentor Media Team planners, including the development of training/education materials, to hone media strategy skills and expertise • Conduct regular performance reviews with direct reports, working on areas of professional development, strengths, challenges, and obstacles

Job Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in the field of media with a focus on digital planning and buying/execution/optimization
  • B2B marketing experience is essential, including a strong understanding of the B2B media landscape, key media vendors, and how they are used to support demand generation and account-based marketing initiatives
  • Savvy experiences with standard media planning and buying processes as well as industry relevant tools and trends.
  • Proficient understanding of paid search and paid social tactics
  • Solid knowledge of standard tracking, tagging & trafficking tools (ie. DoubleClick, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, etc.)
  • Experience running self-managed programmatic campaigns, a plus
  • Demonstrates agility via multi-tasking – multiple clients, programs, strategies & team members
  • Seasoned professional with demonstrated skill sets for client interaction and communication; able to manage client requests and push back with sound rationale when necessary
  • Proven ability to synthesize data & results, identify trends & key findings, and fuel content strategies
  • Management experience of 1+ individuals
  • An influencer that can work well with various groups and levels of the organization
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including editing others’ work and coaching others’ presentations.
