Job Description

Medical Scheduler

JM Career Services and Consulting LLC

• Schedule appointments for medical services, including consultations, procedures, and follow-up visits • Communicate with patients to confirm appointments and provide necessary information • Coordinate with medical staff to ensure availability and proper scheduling of appointments • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of appointments and patient information • Follow all HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times • Provide exceptional customer service to patients and address any inquiries or concerns • Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operation of medical services • Keep track of cancellations and reschedule appointments as needed • Assist with other administrative tasks as assigned

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; some college or medical training preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years experience as a medical scheduler or in a similar role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in using scheduling software and electronic medical records systems
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to work independently and remotely
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures is a plus
  • Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality
  • Customer service-oriented mindset
