Role Description We are seeking a highly skilled, fellowship-trained Musculoskeletal (MSK) Radiologist to join a growing team of subspecialty radiologists. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated physician who thrives in a high-volume, outpatient environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional diagnostic care. As an MSK teleradiologist, you will provide expert interpretations of musculoskeletal imaging studies while collaborating closely with referring physicians, technologists, and operational leadership to ensure timely, accurate, and patient-centered results across our network of imaging centers. Essential Duties & Responsibilities - Interpret and deliver timely reports for a high volume of MSK imaging studies, including MRI, CT, X-ray, and Ultrasound - Maintain exceptional diagnostic accuracy and image quality standards - Consult with referring physicians on complex findings and provide imaging recommendations - Participate in peer review, quality assurance, and continuous improvement initiatives - Collaborate with technologists to optimize protocols and ensure best-in-class image quality - Provide subspecialty expertise in sports medicine, orthopedics, trauma, spine, and soft tissue imaging - Perform or support image-guided musculoskeletal procedures (preferred) - Participate in on-call coverage and scheduling as needed - Meet or exceed established report turnaround time metrics in a fast-paced setting - Ensure full compliance with all federal, state, and accreditation requirements Leadership & Professional Responsibilities - Support the organization’s mission, vision, and values - Serve as a clinical resource and mentor to physicians, technologists, and staff - Contribute to protocol development and best practice initiatives - Participate in departmental meetings, committees, and medical staff activities - Maintain active CME and board certification requirements - Foster strong relationships with patients, referring providers, and the care team Qualifications - Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited medical school - Completion of an accredited Diagnostic Radiology Residency - Completion of an accredited Musculoskeletal Imaging Fellowship - Current unrestricted Texas Medical Board Physician License - Board Certified or Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology (ABR or equivalent) - Current DEA registration (if performing procedures) - Current BLS certification (or ability to obtain) - Minimum 5 years of experience practicing as a licensed Radiologist in Texas - Minimum 5 years of focused experience interpreting musculoskeletal imaging in a clinical setting - Strong proficiency in MRI, CT, X-ray, and ultrasound of the musculoskeletal system - Experience in outpatient imaging environments strongly preferred Preferred Qualifications - Fellowship training in Musculoskeletal Radiology - Experience with advanced orthopedic and sports medicine imaging - Proficiency with PACS, RIS, and EMR systems - Prior involvement in ACR accreditation, peer review, or QA programs Benefits We believe this is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to practice at a high level in a supportive, physician-centric environment.
