Part Time Class A CDL Truck Driver

• Perform requisite safety checks of brakes, steering column, lights and mirrors prior to each leg of journey to ensure road readiness. • Follow and maintain loading protocols to ensure vehicles and equipment are safely transported. • Inspect trailers before and after loading, paying attention to status of air lines, hydraulic lines and jack positions and adjusting them as necessary. • Visit weigh stations before and after packing to ensure that loads meet state safety regulations, making alterations to loads when required by law. • Contribute to company data by honestly recording times of delivery and hours worked. • Assist with loading and unloading of vehicles and equipment. • Assist event teams with setup and tear down as assigned. • Assist the event or race team in paddock and pit lane when needed. • Adhere to traffic safety regulations at all times, including DOT, DMV, State and Federal highway safety rules and regulations. • Meet strict schedules and timelines to ensure vehicles and equipment are delivered safely and on-time. • Ensure the cleanliness of the transporters and haulers both inside and out.
Job Requirements
- Current CDL Class A Commercial Drivers License (required).
- Current Medical Examiners Certificate (required).
- Clean, organized and professional presentation.
- Clean driving record.
- Satisfactory Background Check.
- Demonstrated experience operating vehicle transporters including loading and unloading and appropriate securing of vehicles and equipment.
- Ability to lift 75 pounds.
- Experience with Motive or similar EDL.
