FPV Flight Instructor
Neros Technologies
• Train and coach students on how to tactically fly Neros drones safely and effectively under real-world conditions • Deliver both classroom and field-based instruction • Demonstrate advanced FPV maneuvers in acro mode while under pressure • Provide clear, objective evaluations of student performance • Support the Training Lead in refining and improving course content and other user documentation to keep pace with evolving tactics, feedback, and system updates
Job Requirements
- Expert FPV Drone Pilot (acro mode)
- Experience in teaching, coaching or mentoring adults in a technical environment
- Experience in troubleshooting FPV drones
- Good understanding of UAV full system
- Expert at safety and risk assessment
- Experience with mechanical assembly
- Good documentation and communication
- High attention to detail
- Must be able to carry 50 lbs. of equipment over 5 km of varied terrain, stand for extended periods while wearing body armor, and tread water for a minimum of 10 minutes
- FAA Part 107 Certificate (strongly preferred) - must be willing to study and pass the Part 107 exam within 3 weeks of hire
- Prior military or tactical UAS experience
