• Design and build reports and tools for the Revolution Field Strategies team as well as key stakeholders in line with key programmatic priorities, including, but not limited to Organizing, mobilization, and petitioning, and voter registration teams • Assist in developing targeting and resource allocation • Create and maintain data standards to ensure data capture and hygiene • Develop and present VAN | Votebuilder and Blocks training materials to the Organizing Team in statewide, small group and one-on-one settings • Respond to data support requests and flags • Support other members of the Data Team to complete projects as necessary • Responsible for managing data associates

• Responsible for managing a variety of voter registration and canvassing programs in 2026. • Directly manage all members of the project team, including Operations Directors, Regional Directors, Canvass Managers, and Operations Associates. • Develop high-quality, innovative programs for a broad, diverse set of clients and partners. • Report directly to the National Program Directors. • Lead, coach, and manage the day-to-day activities of the project team. • Cultivate an inclusive culture that fosters learning and professional growth for every team member. • Supervise the planning, execution, and performance of each project. • Maintain close communication and engagement with client stakeholders in partnership with RFS leadership. • Ensure adherence to reporting and accountability protocols, delivering up-to-date, actionable data and information to campaign leadership. • Travel to and remain on site for the duration of assigned projects to provide in-person management to project team. • Undertake additional duties as assigned.

You will work with large-scale distributed systems, real-time data processing, user identity, integrations, and activation services that are critical to StackAdapt's success. We are looking for a Director, Engineering to lead teams responsible for building and scaling backend services across user data, integrations, and activation domains. The ideal candidate will excel as a leader of leaders, overseeing multiple engineering teams while driving technical strategy, organizational growth, and operational excellence. What You'll Do - Leadership & Strategy - Own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for a large backend engineering organization, aligning engineering investments with business and product goals. - Lead, mentor, and grow multiple engineering managers and senior engineers, fostering a culture of high performance, ownership, and continuous improvement. - Drive technical decision-making and establish standards for architecture, scalability, reliability, and operational excellence. - Help develop future engineering leaders and support organizational growth as the company continues to scale. - Backend & Technical Excellence - Oversee the design and evolution of backend systems supporting user identity, integrations, activation, and data processing capabilities. - Ensure systems support high-scale, low-latency, and highly available workloads. - Partner with Infrastructure, SRE, Product, and Data teams to improve reliability, observability, and operational efficiency. - Champion best practices in software development, distributed systems design, and engineering excellence. - Cross-Functional Collaboration - Work closely with Product, Revenue, Finance, Data Science, and Engineering teams to align technical priorities with business objectives. - Build strong partnerships across the organization and represent engineering in strategic initiatives. - Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Execution & Delivery - Translate strategic goals into actionable plans and measurable outcomes. - Balance short-term delivery needs with long-term system health and scalability. - Use metrics to evaluate reliability, team effectiveness, and delivery outcomes. Qualifications - 15+ years of professional software engineering experience, with 8+ years in engineering leadership roles. - Proven experience leading multiple engineering teams through managers in a high-scale SaaS, infrastructure, or data-intensive environment. - Strong technical background in distributed systems, cloud-native architectures, APIs, and large-scale backend services. - Track record of developing engineering leaders and building high-performing teams. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. - Experience in AdTech, MarTech, identity platforms, data platforms, or real-time systems is a strong asset but not required.
