Role Description The Booking Management Senior Specialist is responsible for handling complex travel bookings, ensuring booking accuracy, supporting operational excellence, and delivering exceptional customer service. This role serves as a subject matter expert within the Operations team, managing escalations, optimizing booking processes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless travel experiences for corporate clients. Key Responsibilities - Manage and process flight, hotel, and travel-related bookings accurately and efficiently. - Handle complex booking requests, modifications, cancellations, and travel disruptions. - Monitor booking quality, compliance, and operational service standards. - Investigate and resolve booking-related issues and customer escalations. - Ensure adherence to company policies, travel regulations, and supplier requirements. - Collaborate with Customer Experience, Commercial, Product, and Technology teams to improve service delivery. - Identify process improvement opportunities and contribute to automation initiatives. - Support training and onboarding of new team members and share operational best practices. - Maintain accurate booking records and documentation within internal systems. - Prepare operational reports and provide insights on booking trends, challenges, and performance metrics. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Tourism, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field. - 3–5 years of experience in travel operations, booking management, or corporate travel services. - Strong knowledge of airline reservation systems, GDS platforms (such as Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo), and travel industry processes. - Experience handling complex travel itineraries, booking modifications, cancellations, and travel disruptions. - Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills with a customer-focused mindset. - Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. - Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and operational performance tracking. - Effective communication and stakeholder management skills. - Ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams. - Fluency in English is required; Arabic is a plus.
