Role Description We are looking for a Staff iOS Developer to join one of our squads where you will be supporting Lightspeed’s Hospitality product group on the mission to expand our reach into new markets and countries while enhancing our advanced hospitality commerce platform. For this role specifically, you will be joining the team focused on the Lightspeed POS application that allows our customers to enable servers to perform the range of tasks they need, just in time, where they are. Our mission is to make sure that our flagship product is perfect for our target audience in EMEA and NOAM markets and provides a variety of integrations with our partners. You will join a healthy and collaborative team, continuously improving our engineering practices, and delivering state-of-the-art technology, all while keeping it fun. What you’ll be doing: - Collaborate with some of the industry's top talents to enhance our iOS app by developing innovative features and user-centric workflows. - Design and implement aesthetically pleasing, efficient, and functional mobile applications tailored for iOS devices using Swift and Objective-C. - Prioritize daily activities between the development of new features and the maintenance of existing integrations, with a strong focus on expanding our presence in new markets through novel iOS capabilities. - Report to the Team Lead and maintain active engagement with Product Managers, UI/UX Designers, and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and performance within our POS. - Participate in daily Agile ceremonies, engage in creative brainstorming sessions to challenge the conventional approaches, and execute cutting-edge solutions that enhance user engagement. - Champion high standards in code quality and system reliability, take ownership of the codebase, and contribute to the robustness of our infrastructure. - Elevate the team's performance by sharing insights, adopting best practices in iOS development, and continually seeking ways to innovate and improve our app. Qualifications - Advanced programming skills in Swift (and ideally Objective-C). - Good knowledge of Structured Concurrency, UIKit, SwiftUI, Core Data, REST APIs. - Experience in writing automated unit and functional tests. - Good conceptual understanding of software design and code beauty. - Experience with local network communication, external accessories (e.g., payment terminals, printers) is a plus. - You are a team player who likes to contribute to discussions and share your opinion. - You are self-motivated and can function effectively in a team environment with minimum supervision. - You are always seeking improvement and progress. - You are eager to make decisions and not afraid of making mistakes. - You are keen on sharing your knowledge and expertise with your peers. - Fluency in English as a working language is required for this position. • Take ownership and responsibility of our existing iOS applications • Facilitate and release new versions of apps in several new regions • Build new end to end features on our platforms • Create new UIs to stay on top of various sporting events Globally (World Cup, Football Euros, Olympics etc)

• As an IOS Engineer, you’ll be responsible for taking ownership of our existing iOS applications implementing new features, building new UI pages, testing the applications and releasing into new regions to align with our growth plans all whilst working with a Globally spread team. • Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers and Backend Engineers to design and deliver high-quality products on iOS • Build end-to-end features of the app, such as networking, persistence, business logic and UI • Prepare and maintain documents that include architectural diagrams and navigation maps in your area of expertise • Analyse and prepare recommendations to address existing and potential issues in systems and procedures across the organisation, as well as design and recommend new solutions • Participate in code reviews with team members to ensure that each increment adheres to original vision as described in the user story and all standard resource libraries and architecture patterns as appropriate • Mentor less experienced team members
