Role Description The Senior Design Engineer (DE) is a key member of the Design Engineering group within the Electronic Security Systems (ESS) team, serving as lead engineer on commercial design projects. The DE supports the entire project lifecycle—from initial sales concepts through design development, construction documentation, and construction administration. Acting as a technical resource, the DE ensures client and system requirements are met and collaborates with cross-functional teams to deliver effective solutions. The role is supported by Solutions Architects and the Director of Engineering, with guidance provided by the Director of ESS Engineering. The DE will hold both primary and supporting responsibilities on complex ESS projects and reports directly to the Director of ESS Engineering.
