Job Description

Technical Project Manager

Cloudrizon

Role Description We are looking for a versatile professional who acts as the central point of coordination between Development, DevOps, Sales, Marketing, and Business Intelligence, while also rolling up their sleeves to get things done. You will not only guide teams in executing projects but also temporarily take over key responsibilities from the CEO during parental leave, ensuring business continuity across initiatives. - Serve as the central coordinator for internal and client projects across all departments. - Translate strategic goals into actionable tasks and drive their execution to completion. - Prioritize technical and product roadmaps based on internal capacity, client needs, and business objectives. - Communicate directly with client-side product owners to align expectations, clarify requirements, and ensure satisfaction. - Plan, implement, and maintain infrastructure and DevOps initiatives, from setup to ongoing operations. - Take a hands-on role in technical tasks: system installation, configuration, small automation scripts, minor coding, and integrations. - Facilitate agile and hybrid project management processes (Scrum/Kanban), including sprint planning, retrospectives, and reporting. - Collaborate across technical and non-technical teams to identify blockers early, mitigate risk, and provide structured updates to leadership. - Improve visibility and transparency of ongoing initiatives through dashboards and reporting tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence). Qualifications - Degree in Business IT, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or equivalent professional experience. - 2+ years of experience managing cross-functional technical projects, ideally in IT services, software, or DevOps contexts. - Strong understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC), cloud services, APIs, CI/CD, and infrastructure setup. - Hands-on experience with installation, setup, small coding tasks, and DevOps operations. - Proficiency with agile methods and frameworks (Scrum, Kanban). - Excellent organizational and communication skills in English and German; ability to distill complex topics into clear guidance. - Comfort operating in both strategic and operational roles — able to connect the dots across business, product, and technology. - Experience with project and planning tools such as Jira, Confluence, or equivalents. - Ability to work independently and manage priorities proactively in a dynamic environment. - Valid EU work permit (required). Preferably located in Germany or Ireland. Requirements - Familiarity with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Git, Terraform, or similar tools. - Previous experience in client services or consulting environments. - Interest or exposure to adjacent domains like game development, data engineering, or advanced automation. Benefits - A motivated and innovative team as well as flat hierarchies and open communication. - Total flexibility and security through 100% remote work. - Flexible working hours. - A variety of tasks in an innovative, future-oriented industry.
