Senior Financial Analyst

• Modeling & Forecasting: Build, maintain, and enhance financial models for revenue, expenses, provider compensation, margins, cash flow, deal pricing and scenario planning; support annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting. • Executive & Unit Economics Reporting: Prepare monthly/quarterly financial packages, including variance analysis, KPI tracking, unit economics performance, and executive commentary against budget and operational benchmarks. • Business Partnership: Partner with department leaders to manage budgets, analyze costs, allocate resources, and independently investigate operational variances to recommend corrective actions. • Data Manipulation & Synthesis: Clean, reconcile, and process large volumes of disparate financial, operational, claims, and patient data using advanced Excel/Google Sheets and BI tools to uncover trends and performance drivers. • Healthcare Revenue Analysis: Evaluate key healthcare drivers, including reimbursement trends, CMS allowables, wRVUs, provider productivity, and revenue cycle metrics. • Strategic Insights & Dashboards: Translate ambiguous business questions into structured analytical frameworks and clean reporting dashboards. Assess the financial impact of patient growth, provider mix, and care model performance. • AI-Enabled Automation: Responsibly utilize AI and modern automation tools to streamline repeatable finance tasks, accelerate complex calculations, and build scalable reporting workflows. • Month-End Support: Partner with Accounting on the monthly close process, GAAP-compliant reporting, accruals, revenue/expense analysis, and internal controls.Support conversion and implementation of new ERP system. • Operational Finance: Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and provider payment processes as needed while maintaining meticulous model documentation.

Job Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Healthcare Administration, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • Experience: 4-8+ years of relevant experience in FP&A, strategic finance, healthcare finance, corporate accounting, transaction advisory, or investment banking.
  • Industry Knowledge: Solid grasp of healthcare finance concepts (e.g., CMS allowables, wRVUs, provider productivity) and core GAAP principles.
  • Technical Mastery: Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills (complex formulas, scenario modeling, sensitivity analysis, data cleansing) with a proven track record of handling large datasets.
  • Tech-Forward Mindset: Comfort using modern AI productivity tools to enhance analysis and documentation while maintaining strict quality control.
