Role Description We are seeking a Business Consultant (Banking & Finance) with 4+ years of experience to join our implementation team in a leading banking technology environment. In this role, you will work directly on end-to-end implementation projects, partnering with financial institutions to deliver core banking, digital, or payments solutions. You will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that banking requirements are translated into effective system configurations and solutions. This role is ideal for candidates with hands-on experience in Accounting, Deposits, Lending, or Payments, combined with a strong understanding of core banking systems and transformation projects. Responsibilities - Business Analysis & Requirements Definition - Engage with client stakeholders to capture and document detailed business and functional requirements - Conduct workshops to understand banking processes, product setup, and operational challenges - Translate business needs into functional specifications aligned with system capabilities - Implementation & Solution Delivery - Participate in end-to-end implementation projects, from design through go-live and post-production support - Configure and validate solutions within core banking or digital banking platforms - Work closely with technical teams to ensure proper system design and integration - Support testing phases (SIT/UAT) and ensure solutions meet business expectations - Banking Domain Expertise - Provide expertise in one or more of the following domains: - Accounting (GL, reconciliation, reporting) - Deposits (CASA, term deposits) - Lending (loans, credit lifecycle) - Payments (domestic, cross-border, clearing) - Analyze banking products and lifecycle processes to ensure accurate system configuration - Ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and industry standards - Client & Stakeholder Engagement - Act as a trusted advisor to clients throughout the implementation lifecycle - Communicate solution design, progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders - Build strong relationships with business users, product teams, and delivery teams - Process Transformation & Optimization - Identify opportunities to streamline banking operations and improve efficiency - Support transformation initiatives, including digitalization and product innovation - Contribute to best practices and reusable solution frameworks Qualifications - 4+ years of experience in banking, core banking implementations, or financial services consulting - Proven experience in at least Accounting, Deposits, Lending, or Payments - Hands-on experience in System implementation, configuration, or business analysis in banking projects - Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field Benefits - Maternity leave: Transition back with 3 days per week in the first month and 4 days per week in the second month - Civil Partnership: 1 week of paid leave if you're getting married.
