Ensure high performance, scalability, and security while handling large volumes of concurrent transactions. • Maintain a product-oriented lens on payments and money flows to make sure we build the right way for the future. Navigate incomplete requirements to drive execution to completion, ensuring the platform remains robust as we scale. • Foster team productivity and technical growth. Act as a mentor for the engineering team, lead code reviews, and conduct performance reviews to uphold high engineering standards. • Remain deeply involved in technical implementation, particularly in building our own managed payments platform. Design, develop, and maintain services focused on payment processing, billing, and seamless transaction flows. • Serve as the bridge between technical execution and business needs. Lead cross-team collaboration with other engineering teams, product, finance, and customer support teams to resolve payment-related issues, and improve user experience and build new features the right way. • Oversee the integration of third-party payment providers and gateways (e.g., Stripe, Adyen, Braintree).
