Data Analyst – Market Intelligence
AGDATA, LP
• The Market Intelligence (MI) Data Analyst supports the delivery, quality, and scalability of AGDATA’s Market Intelligence products and services. • Validate and manage data, maintaining dashboards and reports. • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders and support MI workflows that enable timely, accurate insights for internal teams and clients. • Inspect, validate, cleanse, and transform Market Intelligence data to ensure accuracy and completeness. • Perform ongoing data quality checks across product attributes, metrics, and reference data. • Investigate and resolve data discrepancies in partnership with MI stakeholders. • Own building, refreshing, and maintaining recurring and ad-hoc MI dashboards and reports. • Ensure consistent definitions, metrics, and visuals across MI reporting. • Translate data into clear insights that support business and product decisions. • Support MI workflows such as product attribute management, data validation and approvals, and user access management. • Assist with onboarding, documentation, and support processes related to MI tools. • Partner with Market Intelligence, Product, Client Engagement, and Operations teams. • Respond to data and reporting requests from leadership and internal stakeholders. • Clearly communicate findings, risks, and dependencies to non-technical audiences. • Engage professionally with internal and external customers, ensuring clear, timely, and effective communication to support a positive customer experience. • Identify manual or inefficient MI data processes and recommend improvements. • Support automation and tooling initiatives to enable scale. • Contribute to documentation, standards, and best practices for MI analytics.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of relevant experience or equivalent demonstrated capability
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Excel (formulas, pivot tables, data analysis)
- Comfort working with large datasets and structured data
- Ability to clearly explain data findings to varied audiences
- Strong customer communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and internal partners.
- Experience with SQL or relational databases (Preferred)
- Experience with Power BI or other data visualization tools (Preferred)
- Exposure to data quality, validation, or governance practices (Preferred)
- Internship or early-career experience in analytics, reporting, or MI-adjacent work (Preferred)
- Experience supporting analytics in SaaS, B2B, or data-driven environments (Preferred)
