Senior Logistics Coordinator

• Coordinate domestic and international shipments with carriers and freight providers • Track shipments and proactively monitor delivery timelines to ensure on-time arrival • Communicate shipment status with suppliers, warehouses, drivers, and internal teams • Prepare, review, and manage shipping documentation (BOL, packing lists, customs paperwork, invoices) • Coordinate final-mile delivery and ensure successful handoff • Receive, review, and process product quality claims and shipment discrepancies • Manage inventory transfers and warehouse logistics coordination • Enter and manage customer orders within the Order Management system • Maintain accurate records in ERP and logistics systems • Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and company policies • Generate recurring and ad hoc reports related to shipments, claims, and operations

Job Requirements

  • 1–3+ years of experience in logistics, shipping, supply chain, or transportation
  • Experience in B2B logistics or import/export environments (required)
  • Hands-on experience with international shipments (Asia, Mexico, LATAM preferred)
  • Strong understanding of shipping documentation (BOL, packing lists, commercial invoices, etc.)
  • Experience handling shipment discrepancies, documentation review, or claims support
  • Familiarity with import/export processes and logistics coordination
  • Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills
  • Fluent English (written communication is critical)
  • High attention to detail and process-oriented mindset
  • Ability to manage multiple workflows across logistics and claims
  • Organized, reliable, and consistent in execution
  • Proactive in identifying and resolving discrepancies
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced operations environment
  • Quick learner with the ability to follow SOPs

Role Description The role of Sr. Supply Chain Manager contributes to GCG success by working closely with our customers, leading the development of tactical and strategic supply plans and managing inventory levels to achieve customer service, supply chain and financial objectives. The Sr. SCP ensures that the right product is in the right place at the right time in the right quantities to meet customers’ customer demand. The role includes traveling to customer locations to support on-site project success. As a member of the GCG team, the Sr. Supply Chain Planner is responsible for exemplifying the company guiding principles and fostering our company culture. Key Responsibilities - Conducts ongoing development of inventory strategies to determine cost-effective use of inventory investment while maximizing inventory turns and meeting service level targets. Identifies and recommends opportunities to reduce costs and prepare for future growth. Identifies capacity gaps. Recommends changes to sourcing. - Creates and generates reports and performance analyses of KPIs, including out-of-stock, days of supply, aging inventories and other analyses to facilitate cost and service improvements. - Establishes and maintains supportive relationships with customers, suppliers and team partners to ensure effective communication of strategic and tactical issues.
