Role Description Little Wonder Children's Dentistry is seeking a dedicated and organized Administrative Support Specialist to join our passionate team. As an Administrative Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting our operations, ensuring that our staff can focus on delivering the highest quality care. - Manage and coordinate daily office operations to ensure efficient workflow. - Serve as the first point of contact for patients and families, providing friendly and professional customer service. - Schedule and confirm patient appointments, maintaining an organized calendar for dental staff. - Handle patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations. - Assist with billing, insurance claims, and processing payments accurately and timely. - Support communication between dental staff, patients, and external partners to facilitate seamless service delivery. - Organize community outreach efforts, including scheduling free dental screenings and coordinating educational events. Qualifications - Previous experience in an administrative or office support role, preferably in a healthcare or dental setting. - Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with patients, families, and staff. - Proficiency in office software including scheduling and electronic health record (EHR) systems. - Knowledge of medical billing and insurance processes is highly desirable. - Commitment to patient confidentiality and adherence to HIPAA guidelines. - A compassionate attitude and dedication to supporting children’s health and community involvement initiatives.
