Job Description

Senior Legal Specialist

OnHires

• Support the Head of Legal in managing a global network of legal entities, drafting intercompany agreements, and maintaining meticulous corporate records. • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide array of agreements, including SaaS Master Service Agreements (MSAs), SLAs, software licensing, and complex NDAs. • Act as a guardian of the company’s proprietary technology. Manage IP assignments, registrations, and licensing frameworks for software and databases. • Build and scale the "Legal Playbook"—optimizing contract templates, onboarding flows, and internal legal document management processes. • Conduct deep-dive research into international corporate law, jurisdiction-specific compliance, and tax optimization strategies (e.g., IP Box regimes). • Partner with Finance, Product, and IT teams to ensure legal strategies align with business goals.

Job Requirements

  • 3+ years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in corporate and commercial law.
  • Deep understanding of software-as-a-service business models, licensing, and IT service delivery contracts.
  • Ability to draft complex legal documents from scratch in English that are clear, concise, and business-oriented.
  • Solid grasp of intellectual property rights (software, trademarks, database rights).
  • Master’s Degree in Law (LL.M. in International or Commercial Law is a plus).
  • Fluent English (C1/C2) is mandatory. You must be comfortable defending legal positions and negotiating in English.
  • Familiarity with CRM or Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) tools like Salesforce or similar.

Benefits

  • Global Impact: Work on international legal frameworks for a market leader in financial technology.
  • Direct Mentorship: Opportunity to work closely with the Head of Legal and senior leadership.
  • Flexibility: 100% remote work environment with a focus on results, not hours.
  • Professional Growth: A dynamic environment where you can take full ownership of your workstreams.
