Role Description This is a 1099 Independent Contractor position following the school district's calendar. • Provide legally compliant, specially designed instruction (SDI) and deliver compensatory education services (when indicated) to students with active Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). • Develop and execute data-driven, individualized lesson plans to target critical skill areas: Reading and literacy development, Foundational math skills and intervention, Executive functioning and organizational strategies, Functional and adaptive life skills. • Own the creation, management, and ongoing progress monitoring of student IEPs, including full case management responsibilities. • Strategically collaborate with the student's IEP team to coordinate service schedules and tailor instructional approaches to unique student needs. • Administer screenings, conduct progress monitoring, and complete formal outcomes assessments to drive instructional decision-making. • Cultivate a structured, positive, and highly engaging virtual learning environment. • Apply evidence-based classroom and behavior management strategies effectively during remote sessions. • Implement a range of proactive behavior supports, including de-escalation strategies, visual supports, reinforcement systems, and clear routines to maximize student engagement and success. • Systematically monitor and collect robust data toward academic, behavioral, and functional IEP goals to document student growth.

• Empower school-aged children by using evidence-based strategies to support specialized instruction, individual education plans, and academic success. • Provide specialized instruction in math and literacy in a virtual setting. • Collaborate with families and educators. • Help students thrive through consistent, data-driven support. • Ensure that every child can build independence and resilience, no matter where they are.

• Create a welcoming, safe and inclusive playgroup environment that encourages positive participation from children and families. • Support the Lead Educator to plan and deliver playgroup sessions, contribute to topic discussions and share relevant information with families. • Deliver inclusive group experiences aligned with Playgroup NSW principles and program expectations. • Maintain a high standard of duty of care, promptly identifying and reporting hazards, incidents and injuries in line with procedures. • Assist with session set‑up and pack‑down, ensuring environments and practice align with the EYLF, AEDC and Playgroup NSW frameworks. • Uphold child‑safe practices and respond appropriately to any safety or wellbeing concerns. • Support children’s interests, inclusion and participation, including age‑appropriate decision‑making. • Maintain safe, engaging and appealing learning environments. • Drive the PLAYVAN to program locations as required. • Undertake other duties as directed to support effective program delivery.
