Role Description We are looking for a skilled Network Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Cisco networking technologies. The candidate should be proficient in routing, switching (Core, Distribution, Access), and Cisco wireless solutions, and capable of supporting enterprise network environments. The role also requires client handling experience and coordination with on-site field teams for issue resolution. Key Responsibilities - Design, implement, and support Cisco-based network infrastructure including routers and switches (Core, Distribution, Access layers) - Manage and troubleshoot Cisco Wireless environments (WLC, Access Points) - Perform network monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident resolution - Provide L2/L3 support for network-related issues - Act as a primary point of contact for the client - Coordinate with Field Services / Hands & Feet teams for on-site support (hardware, cabling, replacements) - Participate in KT sessions, documentation, and transition activities - Ensure SLA adherence and follow incident/change management processes - Maintain network documentation, topology diagrams, and reports Qualifications - Hands-on experience in Cisco Routers (ISR/ASR) and Switches (Catalyst/Nexus) - Knowledge of networking protocols: BGP, OSPF, EIGRP - Strong understanding of VLANs, STP, HSRP/VRRP, ACLs, NAT - Experience with Cisco Wireless (WLC, Access Points) - Experience with Cisco Video Conferencing - Strong troubleshooting skills - Client handling and stakeholder communication experience - Experience working with global teams - Coordination with field support teams Preferred Skills - Basic knowledge of network security (Firewall, VPN, NAC) - Experience with monitoring tools (SolarWinds, PRTG) - Understanding of ITIL processes - Exposure to SD-WAN, MPLS or WAN technologies Company Description At Zensar, we’re “experience-led everything”. **Summary** The Fiber Optic Network Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing two-way radio systems, fiber optic infrastructure, and telecommunications network equipment.
