Director, EDI Management – API Integrations

• You will maintain knowledge on current and emerging developments/trends to assess the impact and collaborate with management to incorporate new trends and developments in current and future solutions • You will direct and enhance organizational initiatives by positively influencing and supporting change management and/or departmental/enterprise initiatives • You will identify and direct the implementation of process improvements that significantly reduce workloads or improve quality across the department • You will provide subject matter expertise to team members and internal/external stakeholders on complex assignments/projects • You will establish and implement priorities, performance goals and objectives to ensure group results • You will direct and provide leadership to continually improve the capability and results • You will direct all EDI, API and Electric File Exchange processing and administration ensuring the service delivery is accurate, timely and meets all internal service levels • You will collaborate with Leadership on the development of all service levels • In addition, you will collaborate with internal stakeholders to facilitate and ensure an understanding of the key service differentiators between Lincoln and its competitors • You will perform root cause analysis of escalated issues to proactively prevent issues/concerns going forward • In addition, you will provide EDI, API and Electronic File Exchange subject matter expertise and guidance to team members on complex escalated inquiries and/or concerns • You will review and resolve complex EDI, API and Electronic File Exchange escalated issues and concerns
Job Requirements
- 4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's)
- 7+ Years of experience in Eligibility Management and/or employee transaction processes including significant experience with EDI, API and Electronic File Exchange
- 3+ Years of managerial, supervisory, and/or demonstrated leadership experience
- Demonstrated strong relationship management skills with internal/external clients with proven ability to develop creative and collaborative approaches
- Ability to think critically, analyze information and to evaluate the implications of a course of action or solution
- Demonstrate strong project management leadership skills including critical ability to coordinate and balance multiple projects in a time-sensitive environment, under pressure and meeting deadlines
- Confident, comfortable communicator with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Deep expertise in: EDI transactions (834, 820, 835, 837)
- API frameworks (REST, JSON)
- Experience partnering with Employers Brokers/consultants
