Product Leader
Lead
• Be passionate about changing the banking system to meet the needs of a modern digital economy • Break down ambiguous problems, ask the right questions when gathering data across cross-functional groups, and use a structured (first principles approach) to unblock a decision to help create a path forward • Develop and maintain a prioritized product roadmap with well defined product requirements and business justifications • Maintain knowledge of the technical and operational elements of your product which should inform decision making • Develop clear product requirements and communicate them with engineering teams and designers • Be the glue in a diverse cross-functional environment and help drive decisions and consensus • Perform all other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
- 7+ years demonstrated experience in product management and/or engineering with a track record building world class fintech products
- Prior experience in enterprise software domain, scalable SaaS platform design experience, and highly compliance-centric product
- Have strong technical competence, with experience and track record of success in building high-velocity, low-latency, high-availability services with beautiful API design
- The ability to be practical and are eager to collaborate/compromise to get to the best, most efficient outcome
- Strong judgment and analytical skills
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally to align stakeholders on the goals and behaviors required for success
- Operate as a craftsman who will explore and execute on details to create great product experiences
- Have humility and are open to coaching

• will lead the product line together with the Product Managers. • will recruit, onboard, and manage Product Managers, including performance monitoring, mentoring, career development, and training. • will plan and execute team growth by identifying hiring needs, defining roles, and scaling the product organization in line with business priorities. • will actively engage with the team to support retention by maintaining strong communication, understanding individual and team needs, defining action plans, and following up on them. • will ensure new joiners across the product organization (PMs, QA, Designers, Developers) are onboarded effectively, with clear responsibilities, proper tooling access, and well-structured onboarding plans. • will monitor market conditions and evolving customer requirements to develop strategies for business growth, set clear goals, and implement them effectively while considering future technologies, competitor offerings, and regulatory changes. • will work closely with Product Design and Development teams to make tactical decisions and create innovative solutions for complex problems. • will execute and monitor cross-functional product development projects. • will establish and maintain effective product development lifecycle processes. • will set, track, and deliver OKRs for the product, regularly reviewing business goals and taking corrective actions when needed.
• Own a high-impact, company-critical product area that materially influences brightwheel’s growth and customer outcomes • Partner closely with the exec team to shape direction, pressure-test strategy, and drive alignment • Define and evolve product-led systems that help customers realize value faster and more consistently across the platform • Lead strategy and execution for AI-powered product experiences, partnering closely with engineering, design, data, and GTM teams • Identify and prioritize the highest-leverage opportunities using a mix of data, customer insight, experimentation, and judgment • Design, run, and learn from experiments to validate hypotheses and inform larger investments • Define success metrics, monitor performance, and clearly communicate progress, learnings, and tradeoffs to leadership • Raise the bar for how brightwheel builds product-led, AI-enabled experiences
• Partner with Product Leadership to help define and evolve the CR Essentials product strategy • Own execution for key areas of the CR Essentials roadmap, from discovery through delivery • Help balance the complex needs of care practices while delivering a lightweight, user-friendly experience for users • Translate complex clinical, operational, and billing workflows into clear, scalable product solutions • Collaborate closely with Engineering, Design, Clinical, Billing, Customer Success, and Support teams • Define and track success metrics focused on operational efficiency, accuracy, and customer impact
