Role Description We are sharing a specialised remote consulting opportunity for highly reliable document processing and file workflow professionals based in the United States, with strong attention to detail, cloud storage familiarity, and the ability to support high-volume file monitoring and processing workflows with accuracy and consistency. This role supports current and upcoming remote consulting opportunities focused on file monitoring, attachment handling, document organisation, cloud storage coordination, naming conventions, and process-driven workflow support. Selected professionals may help monitor designated systems for newly uploaded files, download and organise attachments, verify file access, and maintain clean document structures within shared storage environments. Key Responsibilities - File Monitoring & Attachment Handling - Monitor a designated internal system for newly uploaded attachments throughout the day - Download attachments and organise files into the appropriate folders within a shared cloud storage environment - Verify that files have been transferred correctly and are accessible to the appropriate stakeholders - Track file movement accurately and ensure each item is handled according to documented procedures - Document Organisation & Quality Control - Maintain accurate file organisation, folder structures, and naming conventions - Review files for placement accuracy, completeness, and accessibility - Identify missing files, upload issues, duplicate items, or process exceptions - Escalate file issues clearly and promptly when additional review or support is needed - Cloud Storage Workflow Support - Work with platforms such as Dropbox, Google Drive, OneDrive, or comparable shared storage systems - Follow established workflows for downloading, uploading, naming, organising, and verifying documents - Maintain consistency across repetitive file processing tasks - Support clean, searchable, and reliable document structures for high-volume workflows - Documentation & Communication - Follow written procedures with high accuracy and consistency - Communicate clearly about missing files, transfer issues, access problems, or workflow exceptions - Maintain accurate notes or status updates when required - Support smooth file handoff and visibility for relevant project stakeholders Qualifications - Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills - Comfort working with cloud storage platforms such as Dropbox, Google Drive, OneDrive, or comparable tools - Ability to perform repetitive document processing tasks accurately and consistently - Reliable internet connection and availability for extended daily coverage - Strong written communication skills - Prior administrative, data processing, document handling, back-office, or file management experience is preferred - Current location in the United States Requirements - A high school diploma, associate degree, bachelor's degree, or equivalent professional experience is suitable - Training or experience in administration, records management, data processing, document control, information management, or related support work is helpful - Equivalent hands-on experience with file organisation, cloud storage, and process-driven work is also highly relevant Benefits - Remote consulting work aligned with document processing, file monitoring, and cloud storage coordination experience - Opportunity to support a high-volume workflow that requires reliability, consistency, and careful attention to detail - Suitable for professionals who are comfortable with structured procedures, file organisation, and extended daily coverage - Long-term project support may be available for strong contributors Contract Details - Independent contractor engagement - Fully remote role requiring extended daily coverage - Eligible candidates must be based in the United States - Expected availability is approximately 8–10 hours per day, depending on project needs - Preferred availability is 7 days per week - Immediate start preferred - Long-term engagement is preferred, depending on project needs and performance - Compensation may reach up to $30/hour, depending on project scope, experience, availability, and fit - Payments are made weekly via Stripe or Wise based on services rendered - Projects may be extended, shortened, adjusted, or concluded based on project needs and performance - Candidates requiring H1-B or STEM OPT sponsorship support are not eligible at this time - Work must not involve sharing confidential or proprietary information from any employer, client, or institution
