Automation Engineer

Zensar

Role Description - Design, develop, and execute test automation frameworks for web applications, APIs, and performance testing. - Perform functional testing, regression testing, integration testing, and release validation. - Develop automated test scripts using Java, Selenium WebDriver (v3/v4), TestNG, and Cucumber (BDD). - Conduct API testing and automation using Rest Assured and Postman. - Implement performance and load testing using tools such as Gatling/Karate. - Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions). - Work within Agile/Scrum teams, participating in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives. - Track and manage defects using Jira, ensuring end-to-end QA ownership. - Utilize GenAI tools (ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, Gemini, Claude) to accelerate test development and code generation. - Collaborate with developers, DevOps, and product teams to improve software quality, reliability, and security. The salary range for this position is $100,000 - $135,000 / year.
