Senior SDET Engineer

• Execute test cases and perform manual testing to identify bugs and ensure the software meets specified requirements • Develop and maintain automated test scripts to increase testing efficiency and coverage • Report and track defects using specific tools, e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla, etc., and work with the development team to resolve issues • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on functional and non-functional requirements • Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand the application’s functionality and design effective test strategies • Document test results and provide detailed feedback to the development team to support issue resolution and software improvements • Identify areas for improvement in the testing process and suggest enhancements to increase efficiency and effectiveness
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
- 3-5 years of experience in QA or software testing
- Solid understanding of software testing methodologies
- Experience with manual testing and exposure to test automation tools such as Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, or similar
- Familiarity with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium WebDriver, Appium, or similar
- Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) processes and tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI
- Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner is an advantage
