About Us We are a venture-backed AI startup on a mission to revolutionize financial and document intelligence. Our API-first platform automates complex workflows—from document annotation and data extraction to invoice straight-through-processing—for leaders in fintech, insurtech, and supply chain logistics. Backed by the Nasdaq Entrepreneurial Center and Village Global (a network fund supported by Jeff Bezos and Bill Gates), we have processed over $23 billion in transaction value to date. We are profitable, experiencing rapid growth, and looking for a Sales Engineer to bridge the gap between our cutting-edge technology and our customers' biggest challenges. The Opportunity We are looking for a technically savvy, customer-obsessed Sales Engineer to partner with our sales team as the product expert. You won’t just be selling software; you will be architecting solutions. You will serve as the trusted technical advisor throughout the sales cycle, translating complex API capabilities into business value for prospects ranging from high-growth startups to established enterprises. What You’ll Do - Own the Technical Sale: Partner with Account Executives to deliver compelling product demonstrations, technical discovery sessions, and proof-of-concept (POC) engagements. - Bridge the Gap: Translate customer business requirements (in payments, banking, logistics, or supply chain) into technical solutions using our document AI and invoicing APIs. - Drive Revenue: Support the closure of new business by effectively addressing technical objections, scoping integrations, and showcasing the ROI of our platform. - Be the Voice of the Customer: Gather feedback from the field to inform product strategy and roadmap development. - Empower Partners: Create technical documentation, sample code, and best-practice guides to ensure customer success post-sale. Who You Are You are a hybrid—part coder, part storyteller, and part business strategist. You enjoy getting into the weeds of API documentation just as much as you enjoy presenting a solution to a CTO. - 5+ Years of Relevant Experience: You have a strong background in a technical pre-sales, solutions engineering, or implementation role, ideally within fintech, payments, or B2B SaaS. - Technical Fluency: You are comfortable with RESTful APIs, JSON, and webhooks. You can write basic scripts (Python, JavaScript, or similar) to validate integrations and build quick POCs. Experience with OCR, data annotation, or document processing is a major plus. - Domain Expertise: You understand the language of Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), supply chain, or financial services. You know what "straight-through-processing" means and why it matters. - Consultative Mindset: You listen more than you talk. You excel at diagnosing a prospect's pain points and architecting a solution that fits their specific workflow. - Relentless & Resourceful: You thrive in a fast-paced startup environment. You are proactive, comfortable with ambiguity, and driven to solve hard problems. What We Offer - High Impact: Join a profitable, well-capitalized startup where your work directly influences revenue and product direction. - World-Class Backing: Work with a team of serial entrepreneurs backed by legendary Silicon Valley investors. - Equity Stake: Significant equity compensation—you are building an asset, not just trading time for money. - Remote Culture: Work from where you are most productive, with a collaborative, remote-first team.
