• Support the project teams in all financial areas associated with running a clinical trial. • Assist in the preparation of the monthly invoicing worksheet which is the source document for client invoicing and source of revenue recognition • Perform variance analysis comparing forecasted revenue to actual revenue to identify gaps, changes in scope, etc. • Review work orders and change order budgets in comparison with actual activities to help identify out of scope activities • Perform monthly Earned Value Analyses (EVA’s) in conjunction with the Project Directors/Project Managers. Participate in the monthly project review meetings on an as needed basis • Provide support to the Executive Director of Operational Finance in the preparation of contract documents (statements of work and change orders) • Work with Company Accountant to provide support to the financial reporting and general ledger functions. Role Description The Associate, Strategic Finance supports financial planning, analytics, and business insights for the business (i.e. Corporate, Operations, Technology division). You will work with Finance leaders on business reviews, full-year projections, and strategic partnership with business leadership. You will create new reporting, and analytical insights to ensure visibility into business spending patterns, projections, and presents findings to multiple levels of leadership. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or Actuarial or equivalent work experience. - 4+ years of finance experience including experience in Healthcare, Consulting, Insurance or Financial Services. - 2+ years of experience with Google products - Sheets, Docs and Slides or Microsoft products. - 2+ years of experience working with C-level executives. Bonus Points - MBA in finance, MS in Financial Analysis. - Experience in the managed care, healthcare or insurance. - Proficiency in SQL/BigQuery to analyze large datasets. - Proficiency working with NetSuite and Adaptive. • Support the investment team by sourcing promising pre-seed start-ups through various channels. • Lead initial screening calls with startup founders independently. • Take care of incoming start-up applications and establish communication with the most important internal and external stakeholders. • Accompany exciting start-ups through the entire investment process: from sourcing through the due diligence process to the completed investment. • Take part and get first-hand insights into our Investment Committee meetings. • Create deep dives into various topics and present your findings to the team. • Support our investor relations team with inquiries and various projects. • Assist the Partners in various portfolio support activities.

• Support implementation, optimization, and transformation initiatives within SAP S/4HANA Public or Private Cloud environments. • Lead requirements gathering workshops with Finance stakeholders. • Analyze business processes and recommend SAP S/4HANA Cloud best-practice solutions. • Configure and support: General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), Bank Accounting, Financial Closing, Tax Configuration, Intercompany Processing. • Participate in Fit-to-Standard workshops. • Prepare functional specifications and configuration documentation. • Support data migration activities for Finance objects. • Execute unit testing, integration testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT). • Provide post-go-live hypercare support.
