Plaintiff's Employment Law Attorney
The Freelance Firm
• Provide in-person coverage for hearings, depositions, mediations, and other proceedings as needed • Assist with plaintiff-side employment law matters, including wrongful termination, discrimination, retaliation, and wage and hour claims • Conduct legal research and draft motions, pleadings, and other employment law documents • Review case files and assist with case strategy • Provide back-end litigation support and help move cases forward efficiently • Collaborate with attorneys and staff on active employment litigation matters
Job Requirements
- Licensed and in good standing to practice law in the State of Ohio
- Located near Canton, Ohio (Cleveland and Columbus area candidates will also be considered)
- Minimum of 5+ years of plaintiff-side employment law experience
- Comfortable handling both in-person coverage and back-end legal support
- Experience with wrongful termination, discrimination, retaliation, and other employment-related claims
- Strong legal research, drafting, and analytical skills
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines
- Self-starter who can work independently
