Job Description
Senior IT Systems Support Analyst
Emerald
• Serve as a senior-level IT support analyst for Epicor ERP, Hyperion, NetSuite, and other connected financial and reporting systems (e.g., A2Z, Salesforce) • Provide Tier 2 / Tier 3 production support, including issue triage, root-cause analysis, and resolution of system, integration, and data issues • Support and stabilize manual and semi-automated financial processes, identifying risks, control gaps, and opportunities for incremental improvement • Monitor, support, and troubleshoot system integrations, reconciliations, and data flows between ERP, consolidation, and reporting platforms • Partner closely with Finance during month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close to ensure system availability and data accuracy • Support SOX compliance activities, including IT General Controls (ITGCs), application controls, access reviews, and audit evidence collection • Maintain audit-ready documentation, including system process flows, control narratives, runbooks, and support procedures • Act as a key IT liaison for internal and external audits, responding to audit inquiries and supporting walkthroughs and testing • Coordinate with vendors, consultants, and internal IT teams to resolve incidents, manage defects, and support system upgrades and patches • Assist with UAT support, validation testing, and production deployments related to fixes, enhancements, and vendor releases
Job Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in IT systems support or systems analyst role supporting ERP and financial applications
- Hands-on experience supporting ERP platforms, with Epicor preferred, and exposure to at least one of the following: Hyperion NetSuite OneStream
- Experience supporting systems in a SOX-compliant, heavily audited environment
- Strong ability to document the process flows and produce necessary documentation for change approvals
- Proven experience supporting system integrations, including APIs, flat files, and scheduled data feeds
- Ability to troubleshoot data issues across multiple systems and perform reconciliation and validation
- Strong documentation, communication, and stakeholder-support skills
- Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new systems and operate effectively in complex application landscapes.
