Software Developer Lead – Engineering Sustainability

• Establish and evolve an AI-driven approach across the team's entire workflow. • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of software engineers. • Serve as technical lead and primary contributor on complex stability improvements. • Own the prioritization and execution of the reliability backlog across the product portfolio. • Partner with Product, QA, and engineering teams to assess severity and ensure timely resolution. • Define and enforce engineering standards and best practices. • Drive continuous-improvement initiatives to reduce operational burden. • Report regularly to the CTO on team velocity, backlog health, and product reliability metrics. • Recruit, onboard, and develop engineers to foster a culture of accountability and technical excellence.

Job Requirements

  • 6+ years of software engineering experience, including at least 2 years in a technical lead or engineering management role.
  • Hands-on experience using LLM-powered tools (such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, Cursor, or similar).
  • Proven ability to coach and uplift a team in adopting AI tools and workflows.
  • Demonstrated experience hiring, developing, and managing the performance of engineers.
  • Strong proficiency in one or more core technologies: C#/.NET, Angular, SQL Server, or comparable stacks.
  • Experience maintaining or supporting large, multi-product software portfolios in a production environment.
  • Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex production issues.
  • Experience managing and prioritizing a high-volume backlog across competing product lines and stakeholder needs.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Track record of building and developing high-performing engineering teams.
