Role Description The New Patient Abstractor abstracts and summarizes new patient charts, serves as a point of contact for moderately complex charts, and works within pre-defined methods, tactics, and procedures to impact department goals. - Accurate completion of new patient abstracts prior to the initial appointment. - Serve as a resource with in-depth and broad knowledge on patient charts. - Partner with Intake leadership to understand the department and corporate strategy and operating objectives. Qualifications - High School Diploma. - Minimum 2-3 years of experience in the medical field, preferably oncology. Requirements - Must be available/flexible between 7:30AM-4:30PM MST (AZ time). - Oncology experience highly preferred! Role Description We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Billing Specialist to join our experienced billing team.
