Project Manager, Telecommunications

• Lead and coordinate broadband network infrastructure projects from initiation through completion. • Facilitate network buildouts, installations, ring collapses, capacity enhancements, and related engineering initiatives. • Partner with Enterprise Engineering, Inside Plant (ISP), Implementation, Field Operations, Optical Network, and other cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery. • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, status reports, risk logs, and executive-level presentations. • Track project milestones, dependencies, risks, and key performance metrics. • Drive stakeholder meetings, facilitate discussions, and ensure alignment across technical and business teams. • Communicate project status, risks, and recommendations to leadership and executive stakeholders. • Adapt quickly to evolving tools, processes, and organizational priorities.
Job Requirements
- Experience managing telecommunications or broadband network infrastructure projects.
- Understanding of network buildouts, fiber infrastructure, network enhancements, ring collapses, and related engineering activities.
- Experience working with teams such as Inside Plant (ISP), Implementation, Field Operations, and Optical Network organizations.
- Strong executive presence and ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent facilitation, organization, and project leadership skills.
- Proficiency with project management tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, or similar platforms.
- Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Ability to learn new tools and processes quickly.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
