Role Description The Principal Naval Architect commands the hydrodynamic, structural, and spatial architecture of Ocean Atomics’ maritime systems design. This role owns the physical integrity and marine performance of the vessels, translating ambitious operational requirements into a highly disciplined product. - Lead the Naval Architecture domain, overseeing specialists in Structures, Hydrodynamics & Stability, Arrangements & Weights, and Habitability. - Enforce rigid engineering parameters for seamless, post-delivery nuclear integration. - Deliver survivable, modular, and highly reproducible marine structures that serve as the physical foundation for our fleet. Primary Responsibilities - Command Marine Architecture & Hull Design: Own the macro-level hull form, structural configuration, and marine systems architecture, ensuring all designs optimize buoyancy, station-keeping, and long-term environmental survivability. - Enforce Nuclear-Ready Interface Boundaries: Establish and enforce strict structural scantlings, shielding support matrices, and spatial margins to ensure the vessel platform natively accepts advanced reactor payloads without mid-cycle redesigns. - Codify the Technical Work Breakdown Structure (WBS): Drive the rigorous engineering documentation and product breakdown structures necessary to translate intellectual property into standardized, buildable blueprints for global shipyards. - Direct Specialized Engineering Leads: Provide executive technical oversight and mentorship to the Structures, Hydrodynamics, Arrangements, and Habitability engineering leads, ensuring cross-functional design harmony. - Secure Class and Regulatory Approvals: Anchor the technical submission strategy, driving design loops to successfully clear complex marine classification society reviews and international regulatory milestones. Qualifications - Advanced degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, or a strictly related structural engineering discipline. - 12+ years of senior engineering leadership within commercial shipbuilding, major offshore energy projects, or complex first-of-a-kind (FOAK) marine platform design. - A proven track record of architecting large-scale, complex marine structures from initial concept through active regulatory approval and physical deployment. - Exceptional technical command with a disciplined, rigorous engineering approach. - Ability to guide specialized engineering leads through highly iterative design loops. • Serve as the primary technical and strategic point of contact for assigned customers throughout the duration of their subscription term, • Advise on best practices, data strategies, analytic maturity, and integrations which meet the needs of the customer business processes and objectives through Alteryx solutions • Guide clients in establishing Centers of Excellence, scalable governance frameworks, and analytic modernization initiatives • Partner across internal teams to align the right expertise needed to support and manage technical outcomes and strategic initiatives. • Architect and guide complex deployments of Alteryx platforms (Designer, Server, AACP, Intelligence Suite, etc.). • Lead environment planning and upgrades, minimizing downtime and risk. • Monitor and analyze customer usage patterns; identify opportunities for optimization and training. • Deliver enablement plans, documentation, and proactive recommendations to reduce friction and drive self-sufficiency. • Maintain fluency in evolving cloud and analytics trends to inform customer strategies. • Share knowledge internally and externally, promoting technical excellence across Alteryx and our customer ecosystem.

• Design and implement end-to-end integrations using approved patterns (APIs, middleware, event-based, batch) • Develop detailed technical designs, specifications, and interface documentation • Define and implement: o Data mappings and transformations o Interface contracts and schemas o Error handling, resiliency, and retry mechanisms o Logging, monitoring, and alerting • Lead hands-on build and configuration across SAP and integrated platforms • Provide technical leadership and oversight for AMS Integration & Development teams • Oversee AMS production support activities and act as primary contact for critical incidents & escalations • Ensure SLA adherence, consistent application of integration standards, and robust documentation • Drive improvements in integration stability, performance, and defect reduction • Ensure solutions adhere to enterprise-defined integration standards and patterns • Participate in design reviews to validate feasibility, performance, and build quality • Identify and escalate gaps where standards are not practical for delivery • Ensure custom development is appropriately designed and aligned to approved approaches • Define monitoring, alerting, and operational metrics • Support deployments, cutovers, and stabilization activities • Drive continuous improvement in integration performance and reliability • Partner with Enterprise Architecture to ensure alignment to strategy and standards • Collaborate with business and IT teams to translate requirements into technical solutions • Act as the bridge between architecture intent and implementation execution
