Senior Analyst Consumer Credit

Role Description We are currently looking for a Senior Analyst Consumer Credit to join our team in Irving, TX. This role involves: - Analyzing consumer credit applications to determine the credit worthiness of applicants. - Determining the risk level based on evaluations of the Credit Bureau and other sources. - Negotiating tiers and terms, and reviewing deal structures with dealers. - Providing support and guidance for Credit Level I and II analysts on escalated deal requests. - Monitoring workflow and ensuring appropriate staffing levels and coverage. - Developing and maintaining positive business relationships with dealers, providing customer service and support. Position is eligible to work remotely. Candidate must be willing to commit to weekend shifts which include both Saturdays and Sundays as well as some evening hours. A Day in the Life: - Evaluating credit applications based on information from credit bureau reports and various other sources. - Negotiating with dealers on disputed loan or lease decisions made by Credit Analysts Level I and II. - Assisting analysts with escalated dealer calls. - Analyzing the credit risk of potential lease and retail customers and confirming or denying loans. - Utilizing risk scoring and credit analysis to administer a risk-based pricing finance program. - Assisting in the training of new credit analysts on credit policies and procedures. - Reviewing loan and lease decisions by analysts for compliance with underwriting policy. - Coordinating with the Field Sales team to promote and maintain positive relations with the dealer base. - Building and maintaining dealer relationships by providing excellent customer service. - Performing side-by-side coaching and guidance of Analysts to ensure quality and consistency of lease and retail purchase decisions. - Monitoring credit application and inbound call workflow to ensure coverage of queues and calls. - Performing other related duties as necessary. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field: Minimum of 4 years credit lending experience required, with 2 years of secured credit buying experience required. Experience in automotive finance is preferred. - Associate’s degree in finance or related field: Minimum of 5 years credit lending experience required, with 3 years of secured credit buying experience required. Experience in automotive finance is preferred. - High-school diploma: Minimum of 8 years credit lending experience required, with 5 years of secured credit buying experience required. Experience in automotive finance is preferred. - Thorough knowledge of consumer credit analysis and approval process. - Excellent customer service, interpersonal, negotiation, conflict resolution, and analytical skills. - Good problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills. Requirements - Occasional overnight travel may be required.
