Job Description
Project Manager, Accounting
Pennylane
• Today we support more than 6,000 accounting firms across France and aim to onboard as many as possible to Pennylane. • They are supported by a team of Project Managers who intervene at different stages of the relationship with our partner firms ⏬ • The pilot phase, in which the Project Manager's role is to supervise and coordinate all activities related to implementing the Pennylane pilot phase (planning, coordination, communication, initial support, workshop facilitation, building the client and staff onboarding strategy, analysis of the project's technical phases). • A deployment phase where the Project Manager plays a central role in the successful transition from the pilot to full use of the tool by staff and clients (planning and coordination, resource management…) • Ultimately, it’s about building and nurturing a relationship of trust with our partners so that the pilot becomes a success and deployment takes place under the best conditions. • The Project Manager team works hand in hand with the Sales team to develop a targeted local strategy for firms in the same region. This organization is ideal for gaining experience through contact with a rich regional accounting ecosystem. • As a PrM at Pennylane, your role will include three main dimensions ⏬ • You are the primary contact for accounting firms, alongside Sales during the pilot phase: from pilot/testing and throughout the life of the contracts. • You ensure effective communication with your client, understand their needs, and make sure the project meets the firm's requirements. • You will be able to identify potential ambassadors. This step is important to build your relationship with the partner firm and to rely on and strengthen a trusted collaboration. • You understand their challenges, demonstrate reliability and proactivity to always support them in the best way. • You are the main point of contact for the firm who organizes the deployment phase of Pennylane within the firm. This requires knowledge of the accounting ecosystem and the ability to build the project timeline with partner firms (organize, coordinate and control all activities related to the project to achieve objectives within the required deadlines). • You act as a bridge between the firms' "project" teams and Pennylane teams to address all issues related to the solution's deployment (training & support etc.). • You supervise teams and allocate the resources necessary to resolve resource-related issues throughout the project. • Using our analytics tools and a data-driven approach, you will be able to feed your thinking to proactively propose recommendations to improve adoption of our tool and migration solutions to our partners. For this you must use the right data at the right time to make sound decisions in account strategy.
