Role Description Reporting to the Chief Product Officer, SpyCloud is searching for an amazing VP of Product Management. The ideal candidate possesses a thorough understanding of the security product landscape and has the ability to build and manage security products. This is a critical role within the business that will be responsible for shaping and executing the product vision to ensure we meet the dynamic needs of our customers, delivering innovative and market-leading solutions. You will be a strategic leader, partnering closely with engineering, sales, marketing, and customer success teams to drive product growth and customer success. What You'll Do: - Product Strategy and Vision: - Develop and communicate a clear product strategy and vision that aligns with the company's long-term goals. - Identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform product direction. - Team Leadership: - Lead, mentor, and manage a team of product managers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment. - Set clear goals and performance expectations for the product management team. - Product Roadmap: - Create and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap that prioritizes initiatives based on business value and customer impact. - Ensure that product development aligns with the roadmap and timelines. - Cross-Functional Collaboration: - Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and sales, to ensure successful product launches. - Act as a liaison between different departments, fostering effective communication and alignment. - Market Research and Analysis: - Conduct market research to identify opportunities and threats, and make data-driven decisions. - Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to stay ahead of the curve. - Product Development and Execution: - Work closely with engineering teams to define product requirements, prioritize features, and ensure timely delivery. - Monitor product development progress, resolve issues, and mitigate risks. - Product Performance and Metrics: - Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess product success and make data-driven adjustments. - Implement strategies to optimize product performance and user satisfaction. - Customer Focus: - Maintain a deep understanding of customer needs and gather feedback through surveys, interviews, and user testing. - Use customer insights to guide product improvements and enhancements. - Budget Management: - Manage the product management budget, allocating resources effectively and efficiently. - Stakeholder Communication: - Communicate product updates and progress to internal and external stakeholders, including executives and customers. Qualifications - Proven experience in product management, or a related role, in the cybersecurity industry. - Fast learner and strategic thinker who can balance big picture strategy with detailed, flawless execution. - Strong customer-centric mindset and proactive sense of urgency. - Experience demonstrating strong leadership, self-motivation, and accountability. - Project management skills with a focus on meeting deadlines and achieving objectives. - Strong technical background and understanding of APIs and integration technologies. - Bachelor’s degree in Math, Science, Engineering, or Business, or equivalent. - Critical thinker that is comfortable supporting collaborative problem solving in a team environment. - Highly self-directed, empathetic, curious, and flexible. - Be self-motivated and able to switch contexts as business needs change. - 5+ years experience in relationship management, product management, or program management within the security product industry. Requirements - Familiarity with Data Science and Artificial Intelligence. - Familiarity with threat intelligence platforms, machine learning applications in cybersecurity, and integrations with SOAR, SIEM, and EDR tools. - Experience in Agile and Lean product development methodologies. - Experience with product lifecycle management in SaaS environments. - CISM, PMP, CISSP.
