Job Description

Infusion Pharmacist – PRN

Ochsner Health

• Maintain and ensure complete and appropriate drug therapy in a multidisciplinary pharmaceutical care environment • Prepare, dispense and verify medications ordered for an assigned group of patients • Assess, evaluate and monitor patient drug therapy; provide drug information, patient education, and other clinical pharmacy services • Manage operations of the pharmacy in compliance with state and federal regulations

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy
  • Current Pharmacy license in the state of practice
  • Must have computer skills and dexterity required for data entry and retrieval of patient information
  • Must be proficient with Windows-style applications and keyboard
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Skills necessary to compound pharmaceuticals, operate technical equipment
