Role Description We are looking for registered Doctors to join our established UK Digital Health service. This is a compelling opportunity to play a key role in a high-impact, UK-focused prescribing service, with a primary focus on our weight management programme. In this role, you will: - Remotely assess and evaluate patient consultations. - Carry out audits on existing consultations. - Perform Assisted Prescribe duties. This role will initially be offered as a 3-month fixed-term contract. You will join a dynamic, UK-based clinical team at the forefront of digital healthcare, specialising in the prescribing of GLP-1 weight-loss medications to patients nationwide. Qualifications - Based in the United Kingdom with the right to work. - Hold full registration and licence with the General Medical Council (GMC). - Hold a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in General Practice. - A minimum of two years post-CCT clinical experience is desirable. - Experience managing patients with obesity and/or type 2 diabetes; experience with GLP-1s and weight management pathways is a significant advantage. - Proven experience working in a digital health or telemedicine environment, specifically conducting Audio-Visual Consultations (AVCs). - Experience prescribing according to established clinical pathways/protocols. - Experience using Customer Service tools such as Zendesk is beneficial. - Fluent in written and spoken English. - Computer literate with a secure home working environment. Requirements - Prescribe treatment in accordance with the clinical protocols set by HeliosX and strictly adhere to GMC guidelines and UK regulations. - Request further information from patients where needed to safely prescribe, and complete accurate, concise clinical notes on patient records. - Complete own work efficiently and in accordance with the designated rota, supporting the team to meet customer demand. - Engage in regular team meetings and mandatory training sessions specific to UK practice. - Maintain continuous professional development (CPD) and keep up to date with prescribing requirements to ensure clinical competency and Independent Prescriber rights. - Work closely with our Customer Support team to provide patient support via email, phone call, or video consultation. - If needed, provide professional correspondence to other health care professionals (e.g., GPs) in the UK. Role Description Primary responsibilities will be to provide individual, group and family therapy, education and ongoing assessment of progress to clients. Case coordination and communication across an inter-professional team is an integral component of the role. The Occupational Therapist will develop, monitor, and make recommendations for treatment and intervention plans for clients in Outpatient Services, including (but not limited to) disability management and gradual onset psychological injury program. Additionally, the Occupational Therapist is responsible for communicating with referral agencies, offering support, and guidance to clients and their families. - Competently manage clients with various mental health concerns including mood disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma, and substance use disorders; experience with disability management and Occupational Stress is an asset. - Work therapeutically with a diverse client population through individual therapy and assessment, group therapy, or other process groups, as required. - Collaboratively develop treatment and care plans based on individual client needs utilizing occupational and rehabilitation focused service interventions, coordinating across broader clinical teams when appropriate. - Monitor client progression on recovery, identify barriers and recommend adjustments to treatment plans. - Delivers education sessions to clients, as well as to public audiences and external groups as needed. - Completes detailed documentation and charting appropriately. Prepares and completes forms, reports, and correspondence in a timely manner. - Participate in case conferences with team members and service partners. - Communicate effectively with team members and service partners within required timelines. - Collaborate effectively with team members and service partners. - Engage in ongoing professional development, maintain appropriate professional associations, and provide current documentation to the Human Resources Department. - Act as a resource person for practicum students and other professionals as assigned. - Other duties as assigned. Qualifications - Registered Occupational Therapist in the province of residence; willing to register in other provinces with ability to practice in Nova Scotia. - Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy (or equivalent). - 2+ years’ experience working with clients with mental health, substance use disorders, trauma, concurrent disorders, etc. - Experience working with clients on disability services, workers compensation, etc. preferred. - Experience supporting return to work, operational stress, disability management preferred. - Experience providing care in a virtual environment an asset. - Demonstrated commitment to client-centered care. - Role models excellence in client care. - Demonstrated excellent communication, facilitation and decision-making skills. - Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with all members of the health care team. - Strong organizational skills. - Demonstrated commitment to best practice and quality improvement. - Evidence of ongoing professional development. - Bilingual (English, French) an asset. Role Description This service is expanding its Children and Young People (CYP) Talking Therapies service, delivering high-quality, evidence-based mental health support to children, young people and families across the UK. As a Family Therapist, you will work systemically with children, young people and their families to support emotional wellbeing and improve relational dynamics. You will deliver evidence-based family interventions as part of a multidisciplinary team, supporting children and young people experiencing a wide range of mental health difficulties. Key Responsibilities - Deliver high-quality systemic family therapy interventions to children, young people and families - Carry out comprehensive assessments, formulation, and risk assessments - Work collaboratively with families to improve communication, relationships and outcomes - Provide therapy via remote and/or face-to-face sessions - Work as part of a multidisciplinary team including CBT Therapists, Psychologists and CWP's - Maintain accurate and timely clinical records in line with service requirements - Adhere to safeguarding, confidentiality and clinical governance frameworks - Engage in regular clinical supervision and ongoing CPD Qualifications - Current professional registration/accreditation with a recognised body (e.g. UKCP, AFT) - Completed a recognised Family/Systemic Therapy qualification (e.g. MSc in Systemic Family Therapy or equivalent) - Demonstrable experience delivering systemic family therapy to children and young people - Strong understanding of safeguarding, risk assessment and clinical governance - Experience working with children, young people and families within mental health services Requirements - Applications that do not meet the above criteria will not be considered.
