Technical Support Supervisor

• The Technical Support Supervisor leads a team responsible for automating and maintaining systems that support client contracts, policies, customer booklets and certificates. • Monitor workload, system functionality, and workflow related to designing, coding, and testing updates to document creation tools. • Ensure timely completion of coding assignments, accurate testing, and compliance with product and regulatory requirements. • Manage and support a team of analysts. • Engage regularly with the team to manage daily workload, make assignments, provide direction and conduct proactive workload balancing. • Help to remove barriers to ensure the team meets deliverables and commitments. • Drive ongoing staff development by delivering regular feedback, coaching, and support. • Partner with the team and internal matrix stakeholders on escalated issues.
Job Requirements
- High School diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred
- 2+ years of previous supervisory experience, preferred
- Experience managing a virtual team, preferred
- Intermediate knowledge of MS Office products; specifically, Excel, required
- Familiar with the Document Source Tool, preferred
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities while adapting quickly to changing demands, preferred
- Strong people assessment skills to objectively evaluate performance, identify development needs, and inform coaching and talent decisions, preferred
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate and build effective relationships across all levels, supported by strong written, verbal, and listening communication skills, preferred
- Ability to travel occasionally, as business needs require.
