• Design and develop scalable, high-performance software solutions using Azure services and tools • Configure CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment of Azure Functions • Collaborate with team members to design and implement cloud-based distributed systems and microservices architectures • Analyze and define technology solutions; provision environments as code • Implement security and compliance best practices throughout the development lifecycle

• Develop and maintain backend services using Node.js with Express or NestJS frameworks. • Design, implement, and optimize SQL databases on RDS/Aurora. • Build and maintain RESTful APIs for web and mobile applications. • Deploy and manage applications on AWS cloud infrastructure. • Containerize applications using Docker and maintain version control with Git. • Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines and automated testing. • Take ownership of features from conception to deployment and production support. • Identify and solve complex backend challenges, ensuring performance, scalability, and security.

• Evolve our billing & monetization platform by ensuring accurate invoicing, • Design and build systems for plans, pricing, usage, discounts, credits, and refunds • Improve financial correctness and auditability • Enhance observability and reliability • Reduce support toil by building internal tools and automation • Partner with Finance, Support, GTM and Product to enable pricing agility and future scale • Document and operationalize billing workflows

• Develop and maintain Zapier’s execution engine, scaling it to handle millions of daily runs • Improve system performance, reduce latency, and strengthen failure handling • Design and implement execution primitives that power reliable automation • Collaborate across infrastructure, product, and platform teams on core system design
