Role Description SEAKR Engineering has an immediate opportunity for a Level 1 Materials Planner to join our team. In this role, you will support planning, analysis, and execution activities associated with material demand throughout the program lifecycle. Planning plays a critical role in every stage of a program, from demand initiation and material procurement through shop order creation, material disposition, and program closeout. This position is highly analytical and data-driven. Successful candidates enjoy working with ERP/MRP systems, spreadsheets, reports, and large amounts of information to identify issues, solve problems, and support program execution. Planners spend much of their time analyzing material demand, reviewing supply requirements, evaluating shortages, and coordinating actions needed to support program schedules. While planners work closely with purchasing, engineering, manufacturing, property, and program teams, this is primarily a planning, analysis, and coordination role with no hands-on material handling responsibilities. You will work cross-functionally with purchasing, program management, engineering, property, and fellow planners to ensure material availability aligns with program schedules and program objectives. This is a fully remote position and a critical role in supporting successful program execution. This role is well-suited for individuals early in their career who are looking to build a strong foundation in supply chain, operations, material planning, and program execution within the aerospace industry. Role Description The Contractor, CMC Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating domestic and international shipments across Syndax’s supply chain. This role will primarily interact with our Named Patient Program coordinator, Trade and Distribution team and our 3PL warehouses. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills and a great attention to detail. This person should also be comfortable managing multiple shipments at a time and working under tight timelines. We are looking for a contractor for 20-30 hours/week. Key Responsibilities - Coordinate domestic and international shipments of drug substance, drug product and/or finished product to Syndax customers - Prepare and maintain shipping documentation (invoices, Shipper Letter of Instruction, airway bills, etc) - Communicate with couriers, customs brokers, 3PL, and internal teams to facilitate smooth customs clearance, minimize shipment delays and execute shipments efficiently - Monitor shipment progress and proactively resolve delays or issues - Maintain accurate shipment records and update internal systems - Provide timeline communication and pre-alerts to customers and stakeholders - Collect and review temperature monitor data Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree - ASCM certification or coursework is desired but not required - 2-3 years of logistics experience managing complex, international and domestic shipments - Strong background with international shipping procedures, including courier selection and customs clearance - Prior biotech/pharma work experience - Experience with temperature-controlled shipping, including ambient and cold chain - Ability to prioritize workload and manage competing deadlines - Strong communication and stakeholder management skills - Thorough understanding of GDP’s governing the distribution of pharmaceutical products Location While our corporate headquarters are located in New York City, this position is open to candidates from any location with a preference for east coast locations.
