Associate Director, Operations & Supply Chain

Role Description The Land and Air Defense Systems (LADS) Strategic Business Unit (SBU) Contracts & Supply Chain team has an exciting opportunity for an Associate Director, Operations & Supply Chain (OSC) leadership role. We are looking for an experienced Supply Chain candidate to be the Operations & Supply Chain lead in support of the Product Support (PS) Sub Strategic Business Unit (SSBU) portfolio. - Provide necessary Supply Chain leadership for a growing $750M business with a team of 35+ Supply Chain Program Management professionals. - Report directly to the Director, Contracts and Supply Chain for the Product Support SSBU. - Responsible for overall strategic guidance, growth, and development of Supply Chain Program Managers. - Lead front-end strategy development and support creation and execution of capture and supplier negotiation strategies. - Ensure Supply Chain actions support long-range financial goals. - Work closely with Product Support Program Leadership Team and cross-business/functional IPT peers. - Proactively interface and partner with internal prime sensor program leadership and external customers. - Regular travel to Northeast business locations is required. What You Will Do - Accountable for OSC cost, schedule, quality, and successful execution of program deliverables. - Overall management of the SCPM team across the PS portfolio. - Manage, develop, and lead OSC proposal activities ensuring affordability and compliance. - Generate assembly plans, make/where plans, and strategic sourcing plans. - Coordinate & develop OSC requirements for all gate reviews. - Overall ownership of the Supplier Management process. - Implement and lead process improvements for assembly, production, and sustainment programs. - Use strong business acumen for planning and managing operating budgets and supplier performance. - Experience in verbal/visual presentations of OSC activities to senior leadership and customers. - Lead collaborative cross-functional teams on tactical and strategic initiatives. - Experience developing and executing sole source and competitive proposals. Qualifications - Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years experience. - Supply Chain or Procurement management experience under direct US Government contracts and programs within the defense industry. Qualifications We Prefer - Strong program management and supply chain experience working large scale Raytheon programs. - Experience interfacing with external DoD customers and all levels of internal leadership. - Excellent interpersonal skills to influence and manage cross-functional initiatives. - Excellent communication and presentation skills to senior leadership. - Experience in developing and implementing cost reduction/process improvement initiatives. Role Description The Contractor, CMC Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating domestic and international shipments across Syndax’s supply chain. This role will primarily interact with our Named Patient Program coordinator, Trade and Distribution team and our 3PL warehouses.
